- Abia State Ministry of Health.
Abia State Ministry of Health is located at the State Government House, Umuahia, Abia State. One benefit of this PPA is that it has a well-equipped laboratory with a work-friendly environment for medical corps members.
They pay corp members a salary of a minimum of ₦30,000 monthly, depending on your course of study (health-related course).
- Abia State Ministry of Health (Public Health and Disease Control – Epidemiology Unit).
This unit is also located in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State. It has a free space to execute work efficiently. The salary at this PPA is nothing less than ₦28,900, which is definitely a nice pay.
- Abia State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
This ministry is located behind the new government house in Abia State. Corp members here are usually paid nothing less than ₦3,700. The pay might look small, but it’s actually better because Abia State hardly gives allowances to corp members.
- Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia
The Federal Medical Centre is a hospital located at Umu Obasi, Umuahia. It is a very big hospital with a friendly work environment. Corp members usually receive nothing less than ₦28,000 monthly as salary in this PPA.
- The Abia State Children Specialist Hospital.
This medical centre is located on Bende Road, close to the CPS police station in Umuahia, Abia State. Though it’s not really a big medical center but the environment is good and they pay corp members nothing less than ₦28,900 monthly.
- Broadcasting Corporation of Abia (BCA), The Africa Radio.
This broadcasting and media production company is located in Umuahia, Abia State. Corp members who serve here are provided with accommodation, with a minimum salary of ₦5,000 monthly.
- New Dawn Model School – Abia State.
The New Dawn model school is a prominent school located on Bende Road, Nkata, and has a wonderful working environment. They tend to pay the amount of ₦10,000 plus to corp members monthly.
- The Bishop Nwedo Memorial Boy’s High School – Abia State.
The Bishop Nwedo Memorial School is precisely located in Umuahia North, in Abia State. Aside from the ₦10,000-plus salary paid to corp members (which depends on how you negotiate and the value you are bringing to them), they also provide food and accommodation to corp members.
- Michael Okpara University of Agriculture.
The well-known Michael Okpara University is currently located at Umudike. The environment is also good, and they pay corp members a salary within the range from ₦10,000 to ₦15,000.
