Federal Polytechnic Ilaro Cut-Off Mark For All Courses In today’s article, we will be looking at the cutoff mark for all the courses offered at Federal Polytechnic Ilaro. Unlike other polytechnics that have only jamb cut-off marks, Ilaro Poly has both a jamb cut-off mark and what we call the departmental cut-off mark.

The jamb cutoff mark is the minimum score a candidate needs to score in JAMB before he can register for their post-UTME, while the departmental cutoff mark is simply the minimum score an aspirant needs to pass before he/she can be granted admission into that particular department.

How To Calculate Federal Polytechnic ilaro Aggregate Score

One thing you should know is that your aggregate is just 50% from your jamb score and 50% from your post-UTME screening score, making a total of 100%.

So the big question here is, how do we calculate it? You can calculate your aggregate following the steps below.

Divide your JAMB score by 8.

Divide your post-UTME screening score by 2.

Add the results of both together, and your aggregate score is ready.

So to explain better, I will be using a practical example.

Example

If Miracle scored 280 in Jamb and 70 in post-UTME screening.

Following the steps listed above. Let’s start by dividing his jamb score by 8 and his post-UTME screening score by 2.

Jamb score: 280÷8= 35

Post-UTME screening score: 70÷2=35

Now adding his score together (35+35), I will have a total of 70. So therefore, Miracle’s aggregate is 70%.
